FULLY LOADED at 21 RESTAURANT

If you have a chance to visit Bacolod; just dont forget  to dine at one of its restaurants where good and delicious foods are being served. Ofcourse, good service is a plus factor. One of these restaurants is 21 along 21st Lacson street just beside INAKA , a Japanese restaurant, and facing CAFE BOBs.

21 resto is an established ala “fine dining” restaurant where everybody is welcomed with warmth smiles and excellent  personal service.

When we were there we ordered from their menu of our personal choice. I ordered Tenderloin Steak (well-done) match with mashed potatoes and my  friends ordered chicken and fish.  After 10-15 minutes of waiting, our orders were served and sympre picture2x muna

The steak is quite good and infairness tumulo agad ang laway ko when the waiter put it on our table. With that kind of food and good service I think the price is just right and reasonable.

Bacolod is indeed more than just a sugar. We have lot of good things behind the vast plantation of sugar. More reasons to smile and fulfill one’s appetite. Ti LAKAT-TA  sa 21 RESTAURANT and make the most of your stay in the city of smiles! Happy Masskara sa Tanan!

CALEA: sugar loaded!

We know, there are lots of coffee and pastry shops sprouted all over the island of Negros. These shops are not only brewing good local coffee but also offer delicious foods. Everything that is S-W-E-E-T.

In this year's Masskara Festival, the theme is "CELEBRATING THE NEW ICONS OF BACOLOD" and so I'm thinking why not we should also include those foods that made BACOLOD popular and known for all over our country or even in the international community. Who knows!?

CALEA at BALAY QUINCE: New icon of Bacolod

Now, I'm talking about delicious and yummy cakes of Calea. Believe me,  Calea's cake especially their cheesecake is the most popular here in Bacolod and I know everybody loves it. "Mapapa kanta ka sa sarap!".

For food hunters and lovers, Calea is one of their havens for their appetite and considered as treasure of Bacolod. Kumbaga sa CALEA, "we got it all for you" and "Bida ka sa sarap".

Calea at Balay Quince is located along dalan Lacson and just infront L' Fisher Hotel kaya siguradong hindi ka mawawala. The interior of Calea is quite good and comfortable. Modern and posh environment -perfect for all ages - that's why everybody loves CALEA.

CALEA is not only known for their cakes but also for their GOOD SERVICE. They have this kind of remote control system that when you need their attention and assistance just press the desired button. TOTYAL!

Masskara na!

MASSKARA FEVER STARTS TODAY

Sum-ag Elementary School: Champion (School Category 2010)

TODAY  is the first day of the month of October. A day where all bacolodnon starts to celebrate the Masskara Festival until the 19th of the month.

Masskara Festival is one of the grandest and colorful festivals in our country today.  Streets will be filled once again with streetdancers wearing beautiful and colorful masks and costumes. I know, one can’t resist to dance to the beat and rythm of Masskara music while wearing one’s personalized mask.

“Dali! Lakat Ta! Sa Masskara!”  (Hurry! Lets go! To Masskara!)

I have been witnessing the Masskara Festival for years and I’m quite excited because finally the organizers agreed to use live music  for the barangay streetdancing competition in this year’s Masskara Festival and for school's category- they will use the previous mixed- music of masskara.  Playing with different instruments like drums, trumpets, percussion, and alike can be more exciting and danceable. Believe me, a beat can electrify the bones of every spectators from all walks of life  to dance while the Masskara dancers are doing their routines. Well, ofcourse, when I said live music I was thinking about La Carlota Drum Beaters but I know it will be different. This time it will be more on distinct Masskara Spirit. Simply MASSKARA SPIRITS that will stand out among other festivals!

“Dali! Lakat Ta! Dala Masskara!”  (Hurry! Lets go! Bring our Masskara!)

Every year Masskara Festival gets more exciting and so it attracts thousands of foreign and local tourists. So, if you are planning to visit and witness the Masskara this month you should book your hotel now as early as possible before its too late. I know, you don’t want to see yourself sleeping at one of Bacolod’s motels. Di bala?

“Dali! Lakat Ta! Masskara na sa Bacolod!”  (Hurry! Lets go!  It’s Masskara in Bacolod!)
